Vanessa Konopka amassed a following sharing her travels across her social media channels. Her life took a drastic turn when she received her diagnosis, leaving her unable to live without assistance.

Her partner, Fernando, announced her passing on their shared Facebook page. He included a note addressed directly to his late girlfriend, expressing deep gratitude for teaching him genuine self-love. "I will forever love you and we may see each other again," he concluded.

Vanessa was hospitalized in the Philippines in late December 2024, where she received her pneumonia and liver damage diagnosis. She was struggling to eat, walk, and talk.
