Hilary Duff's Husband Claps Back at Fan Who Claimed She Had Botox

The actress previously spoke about wanting to look "the best" she can and getting her body in shape. However, she also emphasized that focusing on her inner self was most important.

Hilary Duff posed for several up-close snapshots and shared the photos on her Instagram account on April 15, 2025. She wore a yellow outfit and styled her blonde hair in curls.

While other people called her "beautiful" and "gorgeous," one person in the comments section made assumptions about the Hollywood star.

"Why did she do Botox, I swear to god everyone else is the same," wrote the individual. Some people including Duff's husband Matthew Koma defended her.

Koma, a 37-year-old singer and songwriter who has been married to the former child star since 2019, commented, "@yourebutterfly08 get [expletive] butterfly."

One fan echoed Koma's sentiments, "@matthewkoma second that. [...] The butterfly lady is obv jealous of your wife's literally stunning beauty anyway [sic]."

Duff has grown up in the limelight and has struggled with body image issues. In a 2022 interview, she bared it all in a naked photoshoot for Women's Health magazine.

The actress and singer admitted that she struggled with maintaining a slimmer frame due to her profession. She even had an eating disorder for a year at 17 and described the ordeal as "horrifying."

However, the "Lizzie Maguire" star has since come a long way in embracing her body, and posing naked for the magazine issue was a well-thought decision. The mother of four expressed:

"I'm proud of my body. I've gotten to a place of being peaceful with the changes my body has gone through."

"We bust our [expletive] to get our bodies in shape and to look the best we can. We get facials and Botox and our hair done and highlights and brows and lash lifts and all this [expletive]," said Duff. Still, the 37-year-old Texas native noted that she wanted to "work on the inside" instead, adding that it is the most important aspect.
