'It's Photoshopped': Fans React to Gypsy-Rose Blanchard's 25lbs Weight Loss

The first-time mom has posted two side-by-side pictures, showing off her new figure, and netizens have a ton to say about it.

On April 13, 2025, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard uploaded a before-and-after look on her social media and revealed that this was the result of her recent weight loss. This post sparked a wave of divided reactions from netizens.

Blanchard, who now boasts over 800,000 followers on Instagram, posted a collage of two photos to show her followers the difference in her appearance. In the caption, she wrote, "My 25lbs weight loss 💗."

She also added an explanation in the comment section, where she details how she lost the weight. Blanchard added that, after prison, she "started eating healthier," and things changed rapidly from then on. "I started eating twice a day and smaller portions," she explained.

Naturally, her followers and other people online rushed to comment. However, it became clear pretty quickly that many didn't believe the "after" photo was actually real.

One netizen wrote, "Girl, next time using photoshop [sic] remember to pay attention to the background. Your door is a bit wonky 🥰."

Another person online posted, "Can't believe people put this out when it's photoshopped. The door is warped in. I didn't know when you lose weight you get taller [sic]." Another netizen was simply not impressed, writing, "75% of people lose a ton of weight after giving birth lol [sic]."

However, Blanchard did receive many supportive comments. One person wrote, "Healthy and Happy looks amazing on you. Blessing you and yours ❤️." Someone else expressed, "Your hard work shows ~ Congrats!🎉." Another commented, "You look absolutely BEAUTIFUL 🖤🖤🖤." And one netizen added, "You look great kiddo [sic]."

This weight loss comes after significant changes in her life. The 33-year-old welcomed her daughter, Aurora Urker, back on December 28, 2024, with her partner, Ken Urker.

This date was particularly important as it was the first anniversary of her release from prison after spending over eight years behind bars for her involvement in her mother,Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard's death.
