Pamela Anderson Returns to Blonde Glamour at 2026 Golden Globes After Redhead Reinvention
Pamela Anderson is blonde again, turning heads at the 2026 Golden Globes with a fresh take on her iconic look. After a brief redhead phase, the actress brought back her signature hue—this time with a modern twist and a deeply personal touch.
Pamela Anderson is blonde again—and making headlines for it.
The 58-year-old actress stepped onto the red carpet at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles with a fresh version of her signature platinum look, after spending several months as a redhead. Her hair was styled in a voluminous beehive updo with sweeping bangs by hairstylist John Nollet.

Anderson’s return to blonde was more than just a beauty moment. It was a nod to her roots—both in Hollywood and at home.
“Cinema is my biggest influence—I’m always influenced by old movies—but this look is inspired by my mother in the garden,” Anderson said.

“She always used to wear this messy bouffant with her gardening gloves and rolled up jeans, and it was always so effortless and chic. This is a much more polished version, but the look is a modern bouffant, which I think is really fun.”
A Glamorous but Natural Look
On the red carpet, Anderson wore a white Ferragamo crushed viscose blouse with a V neckline, paired with a floor-length bonded viscose skirt and black open-toe stilettos.

She topped off the look with layers of custom Pandora lab-grown diamond jewelry—including a 22.5-carat five-stack tennis bracelet and a 19.27-carat necklace.
While the outfit was full glam, Anderson kept her makeup minimal, sticking with the bare-faced style that has become part of her recent image. She let her natural complexion take center stage, continuing the no-makeup approach she’s embraced in recent years.

Nollet, who also styled Anderson’s blonde curls at the WWD Style Awards just days before, said his vision for her Golden Globes look was inspired by the golden age of movies—referencing names like Fellini and Hitchcock.

“It’s always about how to make hair shine with a beautiful, healthy texture,” he explained. “For Pamela, I wanted to create an effortless Fresh twist—a chignon for an iconic woman who inspires me.”

The Redhead Era: A Creative Shift
Before her blonde comeback, Anderson surprised fans with a short, copper-red shag haircut—a dramatic change she pulled off with ease.
She found inspiration for the look in classic European film icons like Shirley MacLaine, Romy Schneider, and Isabelle Huppert, as well as in her late friend Vivienne Westwood and her Auntie Sherrie, whose feathered hairstyle she admired.

“I said to my aunt, who is a very small town lady, ‘Who is your hairdresser? I want her to cut my hair, and then I'll just box color it like I normally [do],’” Anderson shared.
Although she usually colors her own hair with drugstore dye, she had it professionally colored for an upcoming role in "Love Is Not the Answer," directed by Michael Cera.
She also went gray for another film, "Rosebush Pruning," where she plays a mother in a dysfunctional family. “It’s nice to change a little bit physically for a role,” she said. “I really enjoyed that.”
In Control of Her Image
The style changes reflect a broader shift in Anderson’s career and public image. Last year, she earned a Golden Globe nomination for "The Last Showgirl," and also starred in the summer hit "The Naked Gun" opposite Liam Neeson. While she wasn’t nominated this year, she returned to the Golden Globes as a presenter.
With a successful skincare brand, Sonsie—rooted in her clean, makeup-free approach—and major film roles under her belt, Anderson said she’s enjoying this chapter of her life.
“It’s a time of happy surprises,” she said. “I’m making choices in my career and the way I look. I’m in control of my own life.”
