Kim Kardashian's Christmas Decorations Draw Criticism Online

Kim Kardashian is kicking off the holiday season with an extravagant winter wonderland inside her home, but the festive reveal has sparked just as much criticism as it has admiration.

Kim Kardashian gave fans an inside look at her holiday setup this year, revealing a sweeping display of Christmas trees throughout her home in a series of Instagram Stories on December 2, 2025.

"Okay, we just finished decorating for the holidays," she said while filming a long row of illuminated trees lining her hallway. "I can’t even begin to explain to you what this smells like and feels like."

"It’s pretty insane. Look at the hallway," she continued, panning across more trees dusted with faux snow and wrapped in soft white lights. The immersive setup made it clear she had enlisted professional help for the extensive makeover.

As Kardashian walked viewers through the decor, she spotted an Elf on the Shelf figure tucked among the branches. "Oh I see a little elf hiding in the tree," she told the camera.

Moments later, she noticed another elf before moving on to the living area and kitchen, where she showcased additional arrangements, including a festive miniature house displayed on the countertop.

"There's more," the mother of four added as she turned the camera to reveal even more trees, each surrounded by fake snow at the base, filling the kitchen with a forest-like scene.

But despite the elaborate effort, the reaction online was divided. Instagram users quickly weighed in with their opinions, and not all were impressed. "Her house looks like it has no heart ,but then again when you walk around with a handbag made of elephant skin you are telling the whole world that you don't have a heart, even her home looks cold [sic]" one person wrote.

"Tiring. Same ole same ole. Not even Christmasy, [sic]" another added. A third echoed similar sentiments: "Her style period is boring and cold."

Still, plenty of fans came to her defense, arguing that the reality star has every right to decorate her space however she likes — and spend her money however she chooses. "How ya’ll gonna hate when you can’t even get in????😂😂😂 [sic]" one supporter commented. Another chimed in, "People are miserable. Let people enjoy their stuff man."

While Kim Kardashian's sprawling indoor forest may not be to everyone's taste, it certainly reflects her signature approach to holiday decor year after year: dramatic, highly curated, and meant to create an experience rather than a traditional Christmas scene.
