Kevin Federline Claims His and Britney Spears's Sons Have Stopped Visiting Her
A new interview has brought fresh attention to the strained family dynamic between Britney Spears and her sons, with their father, Kevin Federline, making emotional claims about the situation.
Kevin Federline has revealed that his sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, have decided to stop visiting their mother, Britney Spears, citing concerns for her wellbeing.

Britney Spears's Sons Have Stopped Seeing Her
In an interview with Piers Morgan on the October 23, 2025 episode of "Uncensored," Federline shared that the boys have become increasingly uncomfortable with the situation surrounding their mother.
"[Britney] saw one of my sons one day this year, and he decided not to go back over there because of what he saw," Federline said, referring to his elder son, Sean Preston, 20.
"The other one, Jayden, who's my younger son, is 19 now — he's been over there quite a few times over the past year, and he's stopped seeing her in the last few months because of the situation," he continued.
Federline claimed that their sons are "terrified" and "worried about their mom," adding that they "don't know how to help because of what all of this has cost."
Kevin Federline Refuses to Say What His Sons Have Seen
When asked by Morgan what exactly the boys had witnessed during their visits, Federline declined to elaborate. "That's not my story to tell," he said, explaining that only his sons could speak about their experiences if they ever chose to. He added that the things they had seen were "shocking."
"So shocking that one of my sons came to me and called me and was like, 'I don't know what to do. I'm afraid Mom is going to die,'" Federline recounted.
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's Rocky Relationship
Spears and Federline's relationship began rapidly and drew intense public scrutiny. They met in 2004, married later that year, and had two sons together — Sean Preston born on September 14, 2005, and Jayden James on September 12, 2006.
Spears filed for divorce in November 2006, citing irreconcilable differences, and the divorce was finalised in July 2007 after a settlement. The ex-couple had several custody arrangements over the years; however, Federline held majority custody for most of that time.
In May 2023, Spears allowed her sons to move to Hawaii with Federline. At the time, she insisted that she remained in contact with her sons despite the move.
Neither Spears nor her representatives have publicly responded to Federline's remarks at this time. The comments mark the latest development in the ongoing tension between the singer and her family, following years of public scrutiny and personal challenges since the end of her conservatorship in 2021.
