Simon Cowell Shares Sweet Glimpse of Rarely-Seen Son Eric

The famed "America's Got Talent" judge offered fans another glimpse of his only child — whom he shares with his fiancée, Lauren Silverman — while filming an episode of the talent show.

Simon Cowell is a happy dad. Last Thursday, August 28, the English media personality took to Instagram to share a sweet moment with his 11-year-old son, Eric. He posted a brief Instagram carousel of clips and photos after filming the quarter-final episode of "America's Got Talent."

The first frame was a photo of him and Eric posing backstage in his office with his pup, Daisy. Eric stood beside his father in a blue "America's Got Talent" T-shirt, smiling next to the 65-year-old, who sat on his office chair while Daisy snuggled on a pink fluffy cushion on his lap.

In the second frame, Cowell pans his camera to a cheering audience behind him while filming. "Everyone's happy, they're happy, I'm happy," he says in the clip. Finally, the concluding slide shows the business mogul speaking mid-confessional on set.

Cowell shares Eric with his longtime partner and fiancée, Lauren Silverman. The couple has kept the pre-teen largely out of the spotlight, though Cowell has shared a few glimpses of their bond over the years.

Prior to this post, in May, Cowell shared a series of photos of him, Eric, and their dog Pebbles after a walk. The first image showed Eric sitting on Pebbles' back; the second captured Cowell embracing Eric; and in the third, the pair kneeled on either side of the pup.
