Emma Stone Turns Heads at the 2025 Venice Film Festival

The "La La Land" actress attended the renowned festival to debut her upcoming scifi-comedy, "Bugonia." In a rare joint appearance, she was also accompanied by her husband.

Emma Stone attended the "Bugonia" photocall and press conference during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on Thursday, August 28. The Oscar-winning actress showed off her grown out pixie cut in a casual yet chic look for the outing.

She was photographed arriving at Palazzo del Casinò, where the photocall and press conference took place. Stone wore a sleek black halter dress with a fitted bodice and an asymmetrical lace skirt that added texture and elegance.

She completed her ensemble with strappy black heels, sunglasses, and a dainty gold arm cuff, while her short ginger locks were styled in a softly tousled pixie cut. Stone was later joined by her "Bugonia" co-stars Jesse Plemmons and Aidan Delbis.

That evening, the "Cruella" star stunned on the red carpet in a shimmering ivory gown with delicate silver accents, featuring thin straps and a softly draped bodice that gathers into a balloon-like shape at the waist.

She kept her styling minimal with natural makeup and a radiant smile and was accompanied by her husband, Dave McCary. The film producer, who opted for a classic tuxedo, did not join his wife on the red carpet but was seen arriving at the festival alongside her.

"Bugonia" is slated to hit theaters on October 31. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, the comedy follows two conspiracy-obsessed young men who kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced she is an alien hellbent on destroying planet Earth.
