"Your girl is gon' be okay y'all," Nas began in the clip. "Okay? She's gon' be alright, she's gon' be alright." The rapper then went on to acknowledge how the situation has impacted him but reassured his concerned fans that he would be just fine.
"That was [expletive] terrifying. That was terrifying! That was a terrifying last four days. But your girl is gon' be alright," he said.
Nas was seen strutting through Ventura Boulevard during the early hours of Thursday morning, August 21, wearing only his underwear and cowboy boots. Nearby residents who witnessed the musician called emergency services, and officers apprehended him at around 6 a.m.
During his confrontation with law enforcement, Nas allegedly assaulted the officers who were trying to arrest him. Paramedics were also dispatched to the scene and were reportedly told by police that his behavior was likely the result of an overdose.

He was subsequently hospitalized and booked into jail over the weekend. On Monday, August 25, he was charged with three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer. He pleaded not guilty on all charges and his bail was set at $75,000.
The musician was then ordered to attend four Narcotics Anonymous meetings per week. He was later released from jail and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on September 15. If convicted, he could face up to five years in prison.
