Emma Watson was spotted enjoying a summer getaway in Saint-Tropez, stepping out in a chic sheer cover-up during a rare public appearance amidst her acting hiatus.

Emma Watson, 35, was photographed on vacation in Saint-Tropez, France, on August 21, 2025. The "Harry Potter" star kept her look stylish yet relaxed, layering a sheer black long-sleeve dress over an orange and black bikini while out on a hike with her personal trainer.

She completed the outfit with turquoise sneakers and wore her hair in a loose updo. To finish the look, Watson accessorized with sunglasses and several pieces of jewelry on her hands and around her neck.

The outing marks one of the few times Watson has been seen in public recently. Over the past several months, she has largely kept a low profile while pursuing her studies at Oxford University.

Earlier this year, Watson joined her university's rowing team and competed in Oxford's annual Summer Eights regatta on the Thames River in May 2025.

Since stepping back from her acting career to focus on academics, the actress has immersed herself in student life, balancing both athletics and her studies, while staying active as an activist as well.
