Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Become Parents Through Adoption
At just 21, Millie Bobby Brown has stepped into a new role off-screen – motherhood – after she and husband Jake Bongiovi revealed they adopted a baby girl this summer.
Millie Bobby Brown is a mom at 21! She and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, welcomed their first child together through adoption.
The "Stranger Things" actress announced the news through her Instagram on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Her post read:
"This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3."
The family of three was spotted strolling through Hampton, New York, the same day they shared the announcement. The couple pushed a stroller through town, looking relaxed as they chatted over iced coffee.
Brown may have hinted at her daughter's initial, as she carried a pink phone case decorated with the letters “RWB.” The actress went makeup-free and wore a pink sweatshirt that read "Mother," paired with white pants, embracing her new role as a mom.
Meanwhile, Bongiovi opted for a casual look with a black T-shirt, khaki pants, and a baseball cap.
The pair, who were first linked in 2021, married in May 2025 in a private ceremony. Their adoption announcement comes only a few months after they exchanged vows.
