The actress had all the support she needed at the debut of her new romantic comedy. Her appearance with her mother comes after she celebrated her 68th birthday.
Dakota Johnson stepped out in stunning glam at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film, "Splitsville." The "Materialists" star was accompanied by her mother, Melanie Griffith, at the event, which took place on Tuesday, August 19.

Johnson turned heads in a silver metallic gown that hugged her frame and cascaded elegantly to the floor. She opted for minimal jewelry and soft makeup, allowing the dazzling dress to take center stage, and finished the look with her rich brunette hair worn down with her signature bangs.

Beside her, Griffith exuded timeless elegance in a crisp ivory pantsuit, featuring a sharp double-breasted blazer and flowing wide-leg trousers. She paired the look with understated neutral shoes, adding a diamond necklace and diamond earrings to complete her ensemble.

The pair walked the red carpet together and shared some sweet moments as they posed for pictures. Their joint appearance at the premiere comes just over a week following Griffith's 68th birthday celebration, where her mother, Tippi Hedren, was also present.
