Brandon Blackstock's Daughter, Savannah, Speaks Out in Emotional Post After His Death
Savannah Blackstock Lee, the eldest daughter of Brandon Blackstock, is honoring her late father with a moving tribute that reflects on their bond, her faith, and the lasting impact he left behind.

Savannah Blackstock Lee, 23, is speaking publicly for the first time since the loss of her father, music manager Brandon Blackstock.

In an emotional Instagram post published on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Savannah reflected on her relationship with Brandon, who died on August 7, 2025 at the age of 48 after battling melanoma.
Brandon was the father of four: Savannah and her brother Seth, 18, from his first marriage to Melissa Ashworth, and two younger children, River, 11, and Remington, 9, with former wife Kelly Clarkson.

"My daddy never fell short of making my dreams come true," Savannah wrote. "No matter how high or how far, he made a way. Not only did he make my dreams come true, he chased them with me. Worldwide he was there, my biggest cheerleader. He is my best friend, my voice of reason, and my favorite phone call every day."
She explained that their bond grew even stronger in recent months, when faith became central to their connection.

"He always loved the Lord, but 6 months ago he sought the Lord," she shared. "He was hungry for the word and we did it together. He's gifted me more than I could've asked for and deserved throughout my life, but 12 days ago he blessed me the most valuable gift I could've asked for. The gift of knowing where he is today, in Heaven with our Savior."

Savannah described the grief she feels while also expressing gratitude for the time they shared.

"I lost a piece of my heart and my favorite Cowboy, but Heaven gained an angel," she wrote. "I'm so thankful for the time I did have and I can't wait for eternity. I love you daddy and I will miss you indefinitely. Enjoy your ranch up there, God designed it with your heart's desires in mind."
Her post also included a slideshow of family photos, showing moments with Brandon, her siblings, and her 3-year-old son, Lake. Just weeks before her father's death, Savannah had announced that she and her husband, Quentin Lee, are expecting another child.
According to the medical examiner's report, Blackstock died of melanoma, a type of skin cancer. His death was classified as natural causes.
