Trudie Styler Celebrates Longtime Friend Antonio Banderas’s Birthday
The English actress recently gave fans a glimpse of the actor's birthday festivities. The celebration comes after it was confirmed that the pair are working on a new film together.
Antonio Banderas recently turned 65, and Trudie Styler was among the close friends who were there to mark the milestone with the "Desperado" star. Styler shared a photo from his birthday dinner on Sunday, August 10, smiling at the camera as she posed alongside Banderas.
"Such a pleasure to celebrate your birthday with you and a lovely table of friends, and to reminisce about our 30 years of friendship! #HappyBirthday @antoniobanderas," the actress wrote. Banderas also shared a post of his own, celebrating his birthday with gratitude.
"Today I turn 65, and I pause for a moment to smile at the road I've traveled, to surrender gratefully to my present and, defying both mathematics and the passing of time, to congratulate myself for still being young," he penned.
Styler and Banderas's appearance together comes after it was announced that the pair are collaborating on a new romantic comedy titled "Rose's Baby," which is set to begin filming this summer in London.
"It's about a dysfunctional divorced couple who can't bear each other," film producer Celine Rattray told Screen Daily. Banderas will play the father, while Styler will serve as director under her production company, Maven Screen Media.

"The only thing they agree on is they both love their teenage daughter and have to unite for a very uncomfortable mission – to make another child to help the medical issues their teenage daughter faces," Rattray continued.
"It explores what we mean these days by 'family' – not just our biological kin, but all the people we choose to include in our circles of loved ones, the people we turn to and know we can rely on during times of crisis," Styler added.
