Nicola shared several snapshots from the August 2, 2025 event, including one that drew heavy criticism: a discreet topless photo taken alongside her mother, who was already dressed for the occasion. The background of the image, which showed Fox News on a television, added fuel to the online reaction.

"Classy with Fox News in the background," one person remarked. Another commented, "This is so weird. Like really strange." A third wrote, "Fox News on in the background while you naked with your mother. It's all weird."

The vow renewal itself also raised eyebrows among some social media users, who questioned the need for such a celebration so soon after the couple's wedding. "What is the point of renewal of vows?
