Born on August 5, 1945, Anderson's passing comes just days before what would have been her 80th birthday. Following the news of her death, Fairchild took to platform X to express her grief. "I am heartbroken to hear of the passing of the wonderful Loni Anderson!" she wrote.
"We did Bob Hope specials together & a Christmas movie 2 years ago," she continued. Anderson and Fairchild starred in the 2023 comedy-drama "Ladies of the '80s: A Divas Christmas." It was Anderson's final onscreen credit.
"The sweetest, most gracious lady! I'm just devastated to hear this," Fairchild shared. She then ended her message by sending her love and condolences to Anderson's surviving family, including her husband, Bob Flick, her children, and her grandchildren.
Fairchild also took a walk down memory lane on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself, Anderson, and Donna Mills on the set of "Ladies of the '80s: A Divas Christmas."
"#OnMyWalk to memories of lovely Loni Anderson, one of the genuinely nicest ladies I've ever worked with, on set of our recent Christmas movie with @thedonnamills. We had so much fun on this! She will be greatly missed!" Fairchild penned.
