Luke Bryan Responds After Being Struck by an Object During a Show
The "That's My Kind of Night" singer was recently performing at a state fair concert when the viral incident occurred. He opened up about the experience in a recent interview.
Luke Bryan's set at the North Dakota State Fair concert was interrupted on Sunday, July 27, when someone in the crowd decided to hurl an object at the singer while he was performing. The moment was captured in a video that has since circulated widely online.

In the clip, Bryan can be seen serenading the audience with his 2011 hit "Country Girl" when a small round object — later identified as a stress ball — hits him square in the face, causing him to duck and pause mid-song.
The "American Idol" judge appears visibly annoyed as he briefly searches for the culprit in the crowd. He quickly recovers, however, and completes the song, which ends up being the final track of his set.

Bryan later recalled the incident in an interview, published on Wednesday, July 30. "It's the last song of the night. It was a big ole fun party, and I think one person just took it too far," he told Taste of Country.
"We see it. Every other entertainer out there is getting stuff — you get stuff thrown at ya. You hope that you can see who did it," he continued. Although he has put it behind him, Bryan said he could've done something about it.
"I mean, if I saw him throw it, I could have gone right to him. I probably would have jumped right off in there," he said. However, he also thought about the possible consequences.
"If I jump off in there... there were a lot of little kids down there. At that point, if I'd even stopped it and pointed somebody out, it kills the vibe of the show," he reflected. As of this writing, the perpetrator has yet to be identified.
