Teddi Mellencamp Shares Health Update amid Cancer Battle: 'I Haven't Been Feeling Good for About a Month'
The television personality has had to step back from her podcast while battling the life-threatening disease, saying she would prefer someone else take over when she is not feeling her best.
In the recent episode of Teddi Mellencamp's podcast, "Two Ts In a Pod," the reality TV star got candid about her ongoing battle with cancer, sharing that she has not been at her level best lately.
She started the podcast by thanking Matt Laughery for stepping in during her absence. Mellencamp went on to remind her listeners that she has stage 4 cancer and cannot control how she feels on any given day.
On her best days, she wants to take advantage of that, and when she feels "terrible," the star prefers to listen to her body. Mellencamp also admitted:
"Essentially, I haven't been feeling good for about a month."
She finds it shocking because she felt quite the opposite after undergoing surgeries, adding that it has affected her mental health. "When I was having radiation and immunotherapy, I was feeling good," said the celebrity.
Ever since she started feeling unwell, she has been having conflicting feelings, sharing, "Why do I feel like I can barely open my eyes and keep my words straight?"
Mellencamp recently learned why she had been feeling like this during an emergency appointment. "What's happening with me is, the longer I am on immunotherapy, the sicker it's making me," she revealed.
That said, doctors have suggested that she take a break from immunotherapy so that her body regains its strength. In addition to her recent health update, Mellencamp previously shared in June 2025 that the treatments had been successful in beating the growth of her tumors.
