According to multiple sources who spoke to Page Six, the pair attended "Viola's Room," an immersive production by theater group Punchdrunk, at The Shed in Hudson Yards.
Eyewitnesses said the two arrived and left the event together, suggesting they spent the evening in each other's company. They were also reportedly joined by "Caught Stealing" director Darren Aronofsky.
The two were spotted kissing during a scene shoot in October 2024, just a month before production wrapped. Publications picked up the news by April 2025, starting dating rumors due to the in-scene chemistry between the two co-stars.
Kravitz, 36, ended her engagement to actor Channing Tatum around that same time, after three years together. Butler, 33, and model Kaia Gerber also reportedly split toward the end of 2024, concluding a three-year relationship.
Neither Kravitz nor Butler has commented publicly on the rumors. In "Caught Stealing," Butler portrays a former baseball player drawn into a brutal fight for survival in the gritty criminal underworld of 1990s New York City. The film is adapted from the novel by Charlie Huston, who also wrote the screenplay.
