Jaime King Is Engaged to Austin Sosa, Source Reveals

The "Hart of Dixie" actress was spotted wearing a large diamond ring earlier this week, before a source confirmed she was engaged to the investment banker.

Jaime King has been known to maintain a certain level of privacy over her personal life, particularly when it comes to her current romance with her partner, Austin Sosa.

However, news has now emerged that the couple has taken the next step in their relationship. A source confirmed to People on Tuesday, July 8, that the pair are engaged and that the actress had already built strong ties with her fiancé's family.

"She is very close with his family and was staying with his parents after she moved out of her Los Angeles apartment earlier this year," the insider revealed to People.

The day before, on July 7, King had been spotted leaving Sally Hershberger Salon in West Hollywood with a new diamond ring on her left ring finger, as shown in images first obtained by the publication.

While she has kept her relationship with Sosa low-key, she has included him in a few social media posts. The most recent came early last month, where she shared a carousel of pictures featuring her sons Leo, 9, and James, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Kyle Newman.

"My God, I am the luckiest and most great mother ever. Thank you to Pammy, Chase, Austin, Gwendolyn and Carlos. Family forever 🎀💅🏻💯💗," she wrote, also tagging Sosa's private Instagram account.

King was previously married to Newman from 2007. She filed for divorce in 2020, which was finalized in 2023. A custody battle for their children ensued, with a judge granting Newman sole physical custody of the boys in March of this year.
