Kelly Osbourne’s Custom Engagement Ring Is a Nod to Her Nickname
The former "Fashion Police" host got engaged to her partner of more than three years during her father's final Black Sabbath concert over the weekend.
Kelly Osbourne was pleasantly surprised on Saturday, July 5, when her partner, Slipknot's Sid Wilson, went down on one knee and popped the big question in front of her parents, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.
Kelly shared a video of the life-changing moment on Instagram. In the clip, Sid grabs Kelly's hand and summons the courage to begin. He says, "Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world." But Ozzy interjects, "[Expletive] off, you're not marrying my daughter."
The remark draws laughter from everyone in the room as Sid continues, "Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?"
At this point, the DJ has pulled out the ring box and gets down on his knee in front of his beau as she looks around in shock. Speechless, she nods yes and Sid slips the golden band on her finger as everyone cheers.
On Tuesday, July 8, Kelly shared a video documenting her fiancé's journey in creating a custom ring just for her. The engagement band was designed by Bespoke's Pascal Mouawad and is said to have cost a whopping $100,000.
The ring features a large round diamond at the center, surrounded by a honeycomb pattern of yellow and orange stones, with diamond bees perched on top. The design, according to Sid, is a nod to Kelly's nickname "Honeybee."
