After over five years of marriage, the couple welcomed their first child over the weekend, and they are overjoyed. They shared the good news on social media and revealed the newborn's moniker.
Tim Tebow and his wife, Demi-Leigh Tebow, are officially parents! The couple announced that they welcomed their baby daughter on Sunday, July 6, 2025. They posted an Instagram carousel of black-and-white photos captured shortly after Demi gave birth.
"Our daughter is here! We couldn't be more grateful for the blessing and gift of this new little life," she began in the caption. "We're so grateful to the whole medical team that assisted us in the best way possible during my labor and delivery."
"From our doctor to our nurses and all the hospital staff — we are so grateful and thankful for you," she continued. Demi also expressed deep gratitude to her friend, Hannah Joe, "for capturing one of the most special moments of our lives so perfectly."
"Thank you to everyone who's been praying with us over her arrival. We are so incredibly thankful for all of the love and support we've felt," she wrote. In another post, the new mom revealed the little one's name: Daphne Reign Tebow.
Demi shared that she had always held the name Daphne close to her heart since childhood. "I never got to meet my mom's mother, but her sister, Daphne, stepped in as a grandma figure to me," she said, adding that Grandma Daphne was "so special" to both her and her mother.
The second name, Reign, also holds great significance. Demi said it was "inspired by a precious little girl Tim and I have loved deeply for years."
Prior to their baby's birth, Demi and Tim frequently shared updates on their pregnancy journey, including the gender reveal.
