
Julian McMahon, Star of ‘Charmed’ and ‘Fantastic Four,’ Dies at 56
The "Nip/Tuck" star had been quietly battling an illness when he passed away last week. His wife confirmed his death with a moving statement on Friday.
Julian McMahon, the iconic actor most remembered for his roles in beloved series "Charmed," "FBI: Most Wanted," and as Dr. Doom in the 2000s Marvel franchise "Fantastic Four," died on Wednesday, July 2, in Clearwater, Florida.

Julian had been quietly battling an undisclosed form of cancer. He was 56. His wife, Kelly McMahon, confirmed his passing and revealed the cause of death in a statement to Deadline.
"With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer," she told the publication.

She continued, "Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible. We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy."
"And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories," she concluded.

Kelly was married to the Australian native for over ten years after tying the knot in 2014. The couple didn't have children but, in addition to his wife, Julian does leave behind a daughter, Madison McMahon, from his previous marriage to Brooke Burns.
