Lily Allen Gets Candid About the Number of Abortions She’s Had
The "Littlest Things" singer, who shares two kids with her ex-husband Sam Cooper, opened up about her experience with abortions during a recent episode of her podcast.
Lily Allen opened up about the number of abortions she has had during a July 1 episode of her podcast, "Miss Me," with co-host Miquita Oliver. The episode opened with a conversation about women's contraceptives.

Allen shared she was on her "third, maybe fourth" IUD. Before that, she said "it was a complete disaster area" for her. "I'd get pregnant all the time, all the time," she admitted. "Abortions, I've had a few, but then again, I can't remember exactly how many."
"I can't remember, yeah. I think maybe like, I want to say five, four or five," she estimated. Oliver also confessed that she had undergone approximately five abortions herself and was glad that she and Allen could talk about the subject in a judgement-free zone.

"Lily, I'm so happy I can say that and you can say it and no one came to shoot us down, no judgment. We've had about the same amount of abortions," she remarked. Allen then recounted one instance in which she terminated a pregnancy.
"I remember once getting pregnant and the man paying for my abortion, and me thinking it was so romantic," Allen said with a laugh.
"I don't think it's generous or romantic. How much is it, like, 500 quid? Kids are a lot more expensive," she admitted. Allen shares daughters Ethel and Marnie with Cooper, to whom she was married between 2011 and 2018.
She moved on with David Harbour, and the pair married in 2020. Speculations arose in December 2024, however, that they had separated. Sources close to the couple confirmed their split earlier this year.
