Emma Stone Debuts New Haircut at ‘Eddington’ Premiere, Sparking Buzz About Her Eyes

The "La La Land" actress's appearance sparked mixed reactions as she had some fans swooning over her new look, while others noticed something "different" about her eyes.

Emma Stone stepped out on Thursday evening, June 26, to attend the Los Angeles premiere of the new A24 film, "Eddington," at the DGA Theater Complex.

The industry heavy-hitter plays a lead character in the contemporary western comedy and was joined by her co-stars, Deirdre O'Connell and Joaquin Phoenix, among others.

She wore a mauve and plum gown with bold wavy patterns and an off-the-shoulder neckline. The shimmering dress was cinched at the waist with a statement belt and featured flowing panels that added movement.

She paired the look with a grown-out tousled pixie cut with choppy layers and wispy bangs that frame her face. The new haircut sparked a wave of compliments from fans online.

"Wowww she looks so good with this haircut! It really brings out her eyes in a new way! 😍," a fan gushed. "This hair cut with her eyes is perfect!" another exclaimed.

Others thought the hairstyle made her suited to portray some iconic fictional characters. "The hair, the eyes! She'd make a great Yzma 💜," one commenter wrote, referring to "The Emperor's New Groove" character.

"This is the perfect cut for Catwoman if she dyed it dark," another said, referring to the DC Comics villain. While the majority of the comments focused on how Stone's new look brought out her eyes at the premiere, however, some suggested she may have had cosmetic work done.

Stone first debuted her big chop earlier this year in February at the "Saturday Night Live" 50th Anniversary Special. Her new film is slated for release on July 18.
