‘Trying to Keep Them Up’: Fans React to Jaden Smith’s Outfit in Recent Outing

The 26-year-old was seen hanging out with friends in California. The sighting comes after his father opened up about a parenting mistake he made with him and his sister.

Jaden Smith was spotted in Calabasas on Wednesday afternoon, June 25. The rapper was shirtless while spending time with friends at his "Just Water" pop-up store.

He wore oversized denim shorts with what appeared to be colorful print underwear peeking out from his waistband and a statement Louis Vuitton belt. He completed the look with white sneakers, long socks, and layered necklaces.

A clip of the young star in this outfit has circulated online, with netizens reacting to how low he wore his pants. "Call your pants up nobody wants to see your underwear, [sic]" one person remarked.

"Please stop wearing pants around your knees," another wrote. "I hate that look! It screams I want attention!" a netizen exclaimed. "You can actually tell he's walking like he's got a hoola hoop on them trying to keep them up 😮😂," another noted.

The sighting comes shortly after Jaden's father, actor Will Smith, appeared on the "Heart Breakfast with Jamie and Amanda" and spoke about where he went wrong raising Jaden and his sister, Willow.

"We made a very, very, very terrible mistake with our children, and we went with radical honesty. But don't do it, I'm not advocating for it," Will said. He explained that he told his children at a young age that if they told the truth, then they wouldn't get in trouble.

But, this wasn't as advantageous as he expected. "Because they do whatever they want and then just come tell you. It's awful, don't try it. You want your kids to lie, definitely, you don't want to know some of the stuff your kids are thinking of doing," he shared.
