Dua Lipa Confirms Engagement to Callum Turner
The English-Albanian singer recently confirmed her engagement in an interview after months of speculation. She also shared how she and the actor eventually came to be a couple.
Dua Lipa will be on British Vogue's July cover this year, but her tell-all interview was published this month. After sparking engagement rumors with her partner, Callum Turner, last December, the musician has finally come clean.

"Yeah, we're engaged. It's very exciting," she shared. Dua met Callum in 2020 at a pre-lockdown party, but it wasn't until they bumped into each other sometime later that they began talking.
Rumors of their romance, however, only began in January 2024 after they were spotted dancing together at a party. The pair remained relatively private about their relationship until they made headlines again in December.
Dua shared a lengthy Instagram carousel documenting her time at home during the holidays. In the images, she included photos where she could be seen wearing a large diamond ring.
At the time, an insider came out, confirming the news and claiming the couple planned to celebrate with friends and family on New Year's Eve.

"They are engaged and couldn't be happier. Dua has had one of the best years of her career professionally and this is the cherry on the cake," the insider told The Sun.
Now that Dua has confirmed the news herself, she shared that Callum had the ring personally made after consulting her best friends and her sister.

"I'm obsessed with it. It's so me. It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well," she said. As for wedding plans, the lovebirds are in no rush—they are taking the time to enjoy being fiancés.
