Robin Thicke and April Love Geary's Wedding Features Tribute to Late Alan Thicke

Robin Thicke and April Love Geary exchanged vows in Cabo San Lucas over the weekend, marking their long-awaited union with a heartfelt tribute to the groom's late father, beloved actor and musician Alan Thicke.

Robin Thicke has tied the knot with April Love Geary in a star-studded yet intimate ceremony, highlighted by a moving tribute to the singer's late father, Alan Thicke.

The wedding was held in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Friday, May 30, 2025. During the ceremony, an empty chair was placed in the front row in memory of Alan Thicke, who passed away in 2016.

The chair bore a banner that read: "In loving memory of Alan Thicke, father of the groom. We remember... Although you cannot be here with us today, your love and light remain in our hearts."

The tribute continued with a touching message: "We feel your presence in the gentle breeze, the warmth of the sun, and the joy that fills the day. You are forever in our hearts."

Alan Thicke, best known for his role as Jason Seaver on the television series "Growing Pains," died of a ruptured aorta and a standard type A aortic dissection. He was 69 years old at the time of his death on December 13, 2016. The actor collapsed while playing hockey with his youngest son, Carter Thicke.

The wedding was a star-studded event, with guests including Leonardo DiCaprio, Usher, and Stormi Bree. "HEAL" documentary filmmaker Kelly Noonan Gores was also in attendance.

Robin and April's wedding comes after a six-year engagement, which included a second proposal in early May while the couple was in Cannes, France. The pair share three children together—Mia, Lola, and Luca.

The "Blurred Lines" singer also has a son, Julian, from his previous marriage to actress Paula Patton.
