The event took place at the Place de la Castre, where the actress was honored with the 2025 Women in Motion award. Ahead of the ceremony, Kidman shared a photo of herself in her ensemble for the night with her back to the camera.

In the image, the film producer leans on a glass railing overlooking the ocean and a stunning sunset, donning a figure-hugging red lace gown by Balenciaga. Allowing the dress to speak for itself, she kept her accessories minimal and wore her ginger locks down.

News of Kidman being this year's recipient of the Women in Motion award first broke in late April. In 2017, she had pledged to work with a female director every 18 months, and has since exceeded that standard, having worked with 19 women in film to date.

"For this 10th anniversary edition of Women In Motion, Kering is honored to recognize a woman who fully embodies the spirit of the program—and stands as a powerful illustration of its mission over the past decade," the Kering Luxury Group said in its official Instagram account.
