Adam Levine Jokingly Comments on Blake Shelton's Return to 'The Voice'
Levine's remarks toward his best friend and former co-star came after it was announced that Shelton would be returning to "The Voice" for the Season 27 finale.
Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have come a long way since their time together on "The Voice," where they developed a friendly rivalry. Now that it was announced that Shelton would be appearing at Season 27's finale, the Maroon 5 frontman had something to say.

"Boo!" Levine joked during an exclusive interview with E! News. "You hear me, Blake Shelton? Right now, you hear me at home? I'm not excited that you're coming back and I don't like you."

Of course, Levine was only teasing his longtime friend, the same way they've always bantered with one another through the years both on and off the air.

In the same interview, Levine, who left the show in 2019 and returned this year, shared his thoughts on returning for Season 28. "Maybe," he said. "If they ask me."
However, Levine was not included in NBC's recent announcement of "The Voice" Season 28 judges. Instead, they unveiled Michael Bublé, Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg as the next panel of coaches.
