A chilling video of the accused stalker has made its rounds on the internet. Earlier this week, he was arrested on suspicion of stalking and gatecrashing the "Friends" actress's home in Los Angeles.

On Monday, May 5, 2025, an elderly man allegedly drove through the gates of Jennifer Aniston's Bel-Air home. He was immediately held at gunpoint by security personnel before the LAPD arrived and arrested him.

The man was identified as Jimmy Wayne Carwyle. At the time, authorities told TMZ that the LAPD were investigating the incident as a possible stalking situation, and was reviewing social media posts under Carwyle's name for evidence.

Aniston was home when the alleged gatecrash occurred but did not interact with Carwyle, nor was she harmed. Carwyle was held at LA County Jail without bail.

New developments have emerged since then, with Carwyle appearing in court on Thursday, May 8, to face one count of felony vandalism and one count of felony stalking.

In a video shared online from his court appearance, Carwyle can be seen standing behind thick panes of glass, wrapped in a blue suicide prevention blanket and staring straight ahead.

While investigating, law enforcement found several rambling social media posts under Carwyle's name in which he mentions Aniston. He was ordered to stay 100 yards away from the actress at all times and not to contact her.

At the moment, however, court proceedings have been suspended while the suspect's mental capacity is under evaluation to determine if he's fit to stand trial. Proceedings will move forward if Carwyle is found mentally competent, and his bail now stands at $150,000.
