The singing legend dazzled fans in her latest photo, giving a nod to her country roots with a stunning outfit. The post comes just over a week after the announcement of her upcoming children's book.

Dolly Parton shared the photo on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, beaming at the camera as she struck a confident, playful pose.

The country queen donned a bright red minidress adorned with black sparkling embellishments and a fringed hem. She completed the look with black heeled boots, a wide-brimmed cowboy hat, and matching lip gloss.

Just over a week ago, on April 29, Parton announced the upcoming release of her children's picture book, "Billy the Kid Dances His Heart Out." It's the third installment of her New York Times bestselling series, starring her eponymous French bulldog Billy the Kid.

It follows the first two titled: "Billy the Kid Makes It Big," published in April 2023, and "Billy the Kid Comes Home for Christmas," released in October 2024.

The latest story—which introduces a new character named Bella—follows Billy as he tries to conquer his fear of dancing in front of an audience. It is slated to come out on December 2 of this year.
