Whoopi Goldberg Shines in Custom Ensemble at the 2025 Met Gala

Whoopi Goldberg stole the spotlight on the 2025 Met Gala blue carpet in a custom Thom Browne ensemble. The talk show host also shared her thoughts on this year's theme.

Goldberg was among many A-list invitees at this year's gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The prestigious event took place on Monday, May 5, 2025.

The longtime actress beamed as she posed for photos, donning a suit-inspired floor-length gown with a dramatic white textured coat layered over it. Beneath the gown, she wore a dress shirt with a black tie and paired the ensemble with a structured top hat.

She accessorized with a matching handbag and shoes. Notably, Goldberg also wore several rings on her fingers, including gold fingertip rings. Upon seeing her take on this year's theme, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," fans flooded social media with compliments.

"We not going anywhere. We been here longer than most anybody. We not going," she concluded.
