Prince George is second in line to the British throne. An insider has claimed that the young royal's parents face a "huge dilemma" regarding his education.

In an interview, British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard revealed that Kate Middleton and Prince William are at odds about which school their firstborn, Prince George, should enroll in.

"There has been much speculation surrounding Prince George's next school. The discussions have been circulating for years, with the Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly arguing and debating the decision for years," Chard divulged.

She noted that many parents often find it challenging to choose the best secondary school for their kids, even more so for the royal couple. According to Chard, the Prince and Princess of Wales "want the best for Prince George."

The photographer's claims come after insiders disclosed that Middleton and Prince William have already started searching for the 11-year-old's next school earlier this year. Per reports, the pair have already visited several esteemed schools in and around London.

According to Chard, there's a good reason why the Prince and Princess of Wales are picky about their choice of school for their son. She explained:

"There has been a long line of unhappy schooling within the family."

"Princess Catherine has allegedly made it clear that she would rather Prince George attend an unstuffy co-ed school," Chard claimed.

Middleton recently joined her son on a tour of her former school, Marlborough College. Additionally, Prince George also toured Eton College, where his father and uncle Prince Harry were once students.

Apart from scouting schools, the young royal recently accompanied Prince William at a soccer game between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa FC on April 15, 2025, in Birmingham, England.

The father-and-son duo couldn't contain their excitement after John McGinn, captain of their favored team, Aston Villa, scored the second goal of the match.

However, it lost the game to PSG in a 5-4 final score. Before this event, Prince George also accompanied his father to the first leg of the matchup on April 9, 2025, in Paris.
