In addition to the growing concerns about his well-being, Woods reportedly missed the Masters Champions Dinner on April 8, 2025, in Augusta due to his Achilles heel injury which he sustained while practicing at home.

As a result, he will not be partaking in the Masters this year, marking the fifth time he has missed it in his successful golfing career. The five-time Masters champion announced in March 2025 that he would be sidelined for a while and would withdraw from the event and future competitions. He underwent surgery, which was a success.
