Woods said the opportunity to be part of Augusta National in a unique way, is of significance. The 49-year-old billionaire expressed:

"To have the ability to be able to design something that's going to impact the community, something that I truly believe in, and be able to do this with Augusta National, what an honor."

While giving thanks, the most decorated professional golfer added, "It's a momentous day for all of us at the TGR Foundation." During the announcement, netizens paid more attention to Woods' appearance in the clip and shared their observations.

In addition to the growing concerns about his well-being, Woods reportedly missed the Masters Champions Dinner on April 8, 2025, in Augusta due to his Achilles heel injury which he sustained while practicing at home.

As a result, he will not be partaking in the Masters this year, marking the fifth time he has missed it in his successful golfing career. The five-time Masters champion announced in March 2025 that he would be sidelined for a while and would withdraw from the event and future competitions. He underwent surgery, which was a success.
