The former Miss USA Arizona holds onto one accessory as she navigates life without her husband. She also shares a powerful message during his memorial service.
Erika Kirk, wife of the late political activist and Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk, has shared for the first time how she is coping after his tragic death on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem.

According to The New York Times on September 21, the 36-year-old widow stated that she has been unable to enter her bedroom. She also admitted, "I'm rotating where I sleep."
However, she has managed to keep a piece of her husband's memory: his pendant of St. Michael. It was the same necklace he wore when he was tragically shot in the neck.
The accessory, according to the publication, was "ripped" from his body by medics as they tried to stop the bleeding. The pendant reportedly still had traces of blood in the crevice of the cross.

The former beauty queen's revelations come amid Charlie's memorial service. On stage, she praised her husband's work with young men and said she forgives the accused shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.

"Our Savior said, 'Father, forgive them, for they not know what they do.' That young man...I forgive him...I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and it's what Charlie would do," Erika explained.
Her words came as prosecutors detailed the seven charges now Robinson faces: felony aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, two counts of felony obstruction of justice, two counts of witness tampering, and commission of a violent offense in the presence of a child.
Aside from the charges filed against Robinson, Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray said he intends to seek the death penalty based on the available evidence and nature of the crime.
