Jimmy Kimmel Spotted in L.A. After ABC Pulls His Show ‘Indefinitely’
The late night show anchor, who has hosted "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" for more than two decades, was spotted out in the city less than 24 hours after the show was pulled from the network.
Jimmy Kimmel was seen out and about in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 18. The sighting comes after it was announced that his show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" had been pulled from the air following his remarks about Charlie Kirk's death.

He also wore sunglasses, and was later seen leaving in the same vehicle. His appearance comes after Nexstar Media Group announced that its "owned and partner television stations affiliated with the ABC Television Network will preempt 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' for the foreseeable future beginning with tonight's show."

The ousting of the late-night show comes after Kimmel's comments regarding Charlie Kirk's death. The right-wing political commentator was killed on September 10, 2025, with a single gunshot to the neck while hosting a student event at Utah Valley University.

Kimmel addressed the aftermath in a September 15 episode of his show. "We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it," he said.
He went on to discuss Donald Trump's grieving process, which he compared to how a four-year-old "mourns a goldfish." Kimmel has since been asked to issue an apology and a "meaningful donation" to Kirk's family. However, the industry giant is reportedly unwilling to comply.
