FBI Releases Photo of Charlie Kirk’s Alleged Assassin
Police initially arrested two persons of interest in connection to the right-wing activist's shooting, who were later released following interrogation and further investigation. Authorities are now on the hunt for the third.
The FBI has released photos of a third suspect in connection to the assassination of MAGA activist and Turning Point USA CEO, Charlie Kirk. The politician was fatally shot while hosting a student event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, September 10.

As of this writing, the culprit remains at large, but authorities say they have a new lead. The official X account for FBI Salt Lake City shared photos of a person of interest, requesting the public's help in identifying him.
In the images, the man is seen wearing a black long-sleeved T-shirt with an altered print of the U.S. flag, dark-wash jeans, Converse tennis shoes, a black baseball cap, and dark sunglasses.
TMZ obtained footage of the same suspect, dressed in what appeared to be the exact same outfit, walking down a street in Orem before turning toward the UVU campus. The footage showed him walking past a house with a timestamp of 11:51 a.m on Wednesday.
Per the outlet, the man appeared to be concealing a long gun in his pants as he limped down the street and turned at the house's property line, starting down a grass patch toward UVU. He then turned back to the street briefly before starting toward the campus again.
The FBI said he entered the university grounds one minute later, at 11:52 a.m. Another clip obtained by TMZ captured the man after the shooting at 12:29 p.m., about six minutes after Charlie was shot, as the campus was being cleared.
During a press conference on Wednesday night, the FBI — which arrested and released two previous suspects — also released footage of the possible shooter jumping off the roof where he allegedly fired the shot that killed Charlie, about 200 yards from where the politician was seated.
The authorities said as he dropped down from the building, he left "some palm impressions" and investigators are working to collect some DNA samples. He was later spotted moving through a parking lot, in the direction of the homes where he was earlier recorded.
