Elton John Spotted in France with Husband and Rarely-Seen Sons
The "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" singer enjoyed a sunny afternoon out with his family on the French coast over the weekend. The rare appearance comes nearly a year after he shared the main reason behind his retirement.
Elton John and David Furnish were seen departing from their Wabi Sabi superyacht on Sunday afternoon, August 24, along with their rarely-seen sons Zachary, 14, and Elijah, 12. The couple walked hand in hand as Furnish guided his husband, who partially lost sight in his right eye.

John contracted a severe eye infection in the summer of 2024, which he revealed left him with limited vision in one eye. He and Furnish were also joined by "Kraven the Hunter" star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, his wife Sam, and their daughters Wylda, 15, and Romy, 13.
Furnish kept it casual in a green button-down with white palm print, layered over a white tank top and paired with light khaki shorts. He accessorized with a tan fedora, sunglasses, a brown leather backpack, and white slip-on sneakers.

Beside him, John opted for a light blue short-sleeved button-down with subtle trim details, matched with bright blue shorts. He completed his outfit with light blue sneakers, dark sunglasses, and a touch of jewelry.

Meanwhile, the boys matched in laid-back style, wearing black tank tops and beach shorts. John's outing with them comes after he shared in an Attitude interview last October that his children were the main reason behind his decision to retire from touring.

"I've done nearly over 5,000 shows in my life and I've done all there is to do, and so I just knew that my boys and David needed me, and I need them," he told the outlet.
