Britney Spears Sparks Concern Among Fans in New Video

The "...Baby One More Time" singer posted a video from her home, which appeared messy, earlier this week. The clip — along with other recent troubling videos — comes one year after her divorce.

Britney Spears has been free from her conservatorship under her father, Jamie Spears, for nearly four years. Many cheered for victory after a lengthy legal battle; however, concern for her mental and overall well-being has steadily grown since then.

The singer seemed to arouse more worry on Monday, August 18, when she uploaded a video on her Instagram page from her home. In the clip, she wore an orange crop top with white polka dots, pink shorts, and black boots.

She also accessorized with a gold necklace and sang as she adjusted her camera and ring light. "Messing around with lighting and cleaning my house like no tomorrow 😳😳😳😂😂😂," Spears captioned her post.

In the background, several items could be seen scattered on the floor. And while the comments section under the post is currently deactivated, the video has circulated widely online, sparking reactions from fans.

"Love her. The videos have been weirder than usual lately. Hope she'll be ok," one person wrote. "These crazy posts happen daily. A welfare check on her and the dogs is warranted," another said.

"I noticed all the dog feces in the background, her dogs need to be checked on. I mean so does she 🙏🏽," a third person observed. "She's clearly NOT ok. She needs her family right now," someone else added.

In a previous video, Spears suffered a slight wardrobe malfunction while dancing in a golden dress with a bold cutout on her chest. As she moved to music in the background, the pop star's breasts were accidentally exposed multiple times.

The clips come just over a year after finalizing her divorce from her ex-husband, Sam Asghari. The Iranian model had been a vocal supporter of Spears' freedom from her conservatorship. The pair were together from 2016, eventually tying the knot in June 2022.

However, in August 2023, Asghari filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking spousal support and legal fees. Their separation was reportedly amicable and was finalized in May 2024.
