Ella Langley Cancels August Shows with Morgan Wallen to Prioritize Health
The "That's Why We Fight" singer announced her hiatus from the "Cowgirl" artist's tour earlier this week after "fighting sickness" over the past few weeks.
Ella Langley is prioritizing her well-being amid her tour with Morgan Wallen. The 26-year-old rising star has been opening for Wallen on his "I'm The Problem" tour, which kicked off in Houston in June.

However, the young singer has been struggling recently and has taken steps toward healing. "I'm so sad to be posting this," Langley began in a statement on Instagram on Monday, August 11.
"The past several weeks have been tough. I've been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever," she continued. "After a lot of thought, I've made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health – mind, body, and heart."

Langley said she wants to be "fully present for all the moments ahead," and knows she can't do that without first taking care of herself. "Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down," the artist reflected.
"I'm so grateful for your understanding and your love – it truly means the world to me," she wrote, concluding her message with a Bible verse. In the next slide, she listed the remaining August shows that she will no longer be performing.
She then promised, "I'll be back on the road in September, ready to give you my all." Her official website already reflects this change.
Langley will return to the stage on Sunday, September 7, for a show at the World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois, before rejoining Wallen the following Friday, in Edmonton, Canada.
