New Details on Ashley Biden's Divorce from Doctor Husband Revealed

Ashley Biden's split from her husband of more than a decade has taken a dramatic turn, with the president's daughter sharing — and quickly removing — an online post she claimed showed him with another woman.

Ashley Biden, only daughter of former president Joe Biden, shared a grainy Instagram clip on Thursday, August 14, 2025, that appeared to show a dark-haired man in casual clothing walking hand-in-hand with a blonde in a strapless black dress.

Set to The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Another," the caption read, "My husband and his girlfriend holding hands." The post was later deleted, but not before eagle-eyed netizens were able to save the Instagram story update.

Court records show Biden has since filed for divorce from Dr. Howard Krein, 59, her husband of more than 13 years. The filing was made on August 11, 2025, Monday, in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, The New York Post confirmed.

Biden and Krein, a plastic surgeon, married in June 2012 in Greenville, Delaware, two years after being introduced by her late brother, Beau Biden. They were living in Philadelphia before their separation, where Krein has been holding his clinic at one of the city's major hospitals.

Biden and Krein did not have any children together throughout their marriage.
