Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Team Up in Charming New Kind Science Skincare Promo
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are blending work, love, and a touch of country living in their latest joint project, starring in a cozy new promo for DeGeneres' Kind Science skincare line.
Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, are front and center in a new campaign for Kind Science, the comedian's skincare brand. The couple appeared alongside their pet dogs to spotlight the line's hydration cream and firming serum.

In the promo, they sit side-by-side on a couch in matching denim jeans, casually chatting about the products. "These Kind Science videos always made for a great family photo. (btw that is how Augie used to let us know it was dinner time.)," DeGeneres captioned the post.

The lighthearted ad comes amid DeGeneres' transition to life in the United Kingdom. The 67-year-old comedian surprised fans when she announced her move following the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
Her new chapter with de Rossi, 52, has gradually come into focus. Late last month, DeGeneres made an unannounced appearance at the Cheltenham Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, England, for an impromptu Q&A, according to Us Weekly.
While she described a peaceful countryside lifestyle, DeGeneres also admitted she sometimes feels "bored" after being "pushed out" of the spotlight in the wake of workplace misconduct allegations on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." The controversy led to the firing of three top producers before the talk show ended in May 2022.
The couple first settled in Kitesbridge Farm, a property in the Cotswolds — a scenic rural region in southwest England, roughly 90 minutes from London by train — purchasing it in 2024 for about $20 million. They later listed the estate for $30 million and relocated to a nearby 10,000-square-foot home named Hiaven, bought for $26 million.
Since the move, DeGeneres has embraced country life, frequently sharing Instagram clips of herself riding a lawnmower, feeding chickens, and tending to sheep.
