Teri Hatcher Posts Makeup-Free Selfies, Shows Off Natural Beauty

Teri Hatcher is once again challenging conventional beauty standards, this time with a series of bare-faced selfies that highlight her natural appearance and reflect her long-standing stance on aging authentically.

Teri Hatcher is embracing her natural beauty and encouraging others to do the same. The "Desperate Housewives" star recently shared a collage of makeup-free, unfiltered selfies taken during an evening walk, along with a thoughtful caption exploring how beauty is perceived.

"Walking at sunset in that magical golden hour any Oscar-winning DP would chase, I got curious to see, what is the difference and should it matter," Hatcher, 60, wrote.

"So, here's a no-filter shot of me facing the sun, and with it at my back. Every line…a story of real human effort, successes & flaws," she continued, adding, "Feel free to zoom in."

In her post, Hatcher questioned how angles affect our perception of attractiveness. "Is one angle more forgiving? More 'beautiful'?" She concluded, "How we frame beauty is everything — my perception? I choose gratitude for the time gifted in every wrinkle."

The actress also reflected on her decision to publicly share a makeup-free photo for the first time in 2010. "Everyone told me I was crazy but 15 years later, I'm still here, still saying it’s okay to be real," she wrote.

Hatcher included screenshots of articles from that time, which focused on her choice to go without cosmetic enhancements. One headline read, "A Barefaced Teri Hatcher Talks About Beauty and Botox."

In the throwback photos, Hatcher scrunched her face fresh out of the shower to show she still had full facial movement — an image she now echoes in her latest series of natural selfies.
