Lindsay Lohan’s ‘Freakier Friday’ UK Premiere Look Is a Nod to the OG Film

The "Mean Girls" star paid homage to her character's final costume in the 2003 cult classic. She reprised her role in the sequel, which hits theaters one week from now.

Lindsay Lohan stepped out in style for the U.K. premiere of "Freakier Friday" on Thursday, July 31. The star-studded event took place at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, England.

Lohan came dressed to impress in a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin gown modeled after one of her iconic costumes in 2003's "Freaky Friday." The form-fitting lavender dress was adorned with sparkling silver embellishments and featured a halter neckline.

Lohan accessorized with a small red guitar-shaped clutch — a vintage Judith Leiber bag — along with a delicate bracelet and diamond drop earrings. Her soft makeup included light pink blush, nude matte lips, and a touch of pink eyeshadow.

The actress completed the look with her long blonde tresses styled in a loose blowout. Her ensemble paid tribute to the outfit worn by her character in the final scenes of "Freaky Friday."

In those scenes, Lohan's character, Anna Coleman, performs with her band Pink Slip at her mother Tess Coleman's wedding. She wears a soft lavender strapless dress with light pink lace and floral embroidery throughout.

She also plays a red electric guitar—much like the red clutch she carried at the London premiere. The film is slated for release in theaters next Friday, August 8.
