Beyoncé Wraps Cowboy Carter Tour with Surprise Destiny’s Child Reunion
The "Upgrade U" singer wrapped up her "Cowboy Carter" tour with a bang over the weekend. Her performance with her former Destiny's Child bandmates marked their first together in years.
Beyoncé delivered another standout performance as she closed off her "Cowboy Carter" tour with her final concert at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 26.
During the show, the singer brought out her former band members, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, on stage in a surprise Destiny's Child reunion. In a video shared on TikTok, Beyoncé briefly leaves the stage while the music continues to play.
She later reemerges from beneath the stage along with Kelly and Michelle as they all harmonize to the bridge of their song "Independent Woman." The trio then strikes a pose at the end of their ascent, and begins strutting to their 2004 hit, "Lose My Breath."
They then follow up with a performance of Beyoncé's 2022 hit, "Energy," before participating in the Mute Challenge, and finally close their set with 2001's "Bootylicious" from their "Survivor" album.
Destiny's Child last performed together in 2018 when Beyoncé headlined Coachella. They reunited again in 2023 with original members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett backstage during Beyoncé's "Renaissance" World Tour.
Prior to joining the "Cuff It" singer onstage, Kelly and Michelle had been spotted attending her previous shows, in Paris and Washington, D.C., respectively. Other surprise guests included Jay-Z and Shaboozey.
