Selena Gomez Wants This Unconventional Dessert at Her Wedding

The "Same Old Love" singer shared some surprising insight into what could be on her wedding menu in a new video. She and her beau announced their engagement last year.

Selena Gomez already has a vision for the dessert that she and record producer Benny Blanco will serve guests at their upcoming nuptials. The 33-year-old revealed the sweet treat she wanted in a TikTok video on the Rare Beauty account.

"Whenever that day comes, I do know I don't want a big cake," she said. "My preferred dessert I think would be biscuits and gravy. My nana's biscuits and gravy. That sounds like dessert to me."

Still, she wants to maintain some elements of tradition. "I think I'd want a mini one for just us that we can freeze," she shared. Gomez and Blanco got engaged in December 2024.

The actress announced the good news with a series of photos showing off her engagement ring. "Forever begins now..," she captioned the post.

Food has always been a big part of the couple's romance. For their first Valentine's together, Blanco went all out, renting out a movie theater and curating some of Gomez's favorite meals.

"I brought a deep fryer—everything—made her fried pickle," the 37-year-old told Howard Stern on his titular show. "I got her all her favorite Taco Bell. She loves Hot Cheetos, I got her Hot Cheetos. And then she loves movie theater nachos, so I brought in the nacho machine."

During the May 2024 interview, Blanco also declared that he wanted children. "That's the next goal, to check the box. I have a ton of godkids, I've got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids," he said.
