Jessica Simpson Reportedly Peed Mid-Performance While on the 'Today' Show

Jessica Simpson delivered a flawless performance on the "Today" show, but according to behind-the-scenes whispers, she may have powered through an unexpectedly personal moment without missing a note.

Jessica Simpson appears to have peed her pants on stage while performing on the "Today" show in New York City, joining a pantheon of greats who've done just that.

The pop singer performed a medley as part of the NBC breakfast show's Summer Concert Series, and she's such a pro that viewers wouldn't have known anything was amiss.

It was only when Simpson was already backstage that she realized, and admitted to those around her, that she seemed to have peed herself while performing. This is a totally normal occurrence that has happened to a slew of artists, including Hugh Jackman, Pattie Labelle, Fergie, Joe Jonas, and Ed Sheeran.

Simpson also appeared on the show to perform new tracks from "Nashville Canyon, Pt. 1," released in March 2025, and to promote her forthcoming follow-up album, "Nashville Canyon, Pt. 2," expected later this year.

Speaking about her appearance on the "Today" show, the songstress wrote about the support of her fans, posting, "My only way back to the stage is through the hearts of each and every person who believes in me with the faith that truly validates my purpose. It is with y’all’s acceptance of my vulnerability that I can begin again at 45! Thank you for blessing my life and making me feel ALIVE [sic]."
