Six Years On, 'Descendants' Co-Stars Remember Cameron Boyce: 'Our Angel. Forever.'

Cameron Boyce passed away in 2019, yet his memory lives on, as the young actor's co-stars took to social media to honor his memory with touching tributes.

July 6, 2025, marked 6 years since the world lost beloved child actor Cameron Boyce. In honor of the special day, his "Descendants" co-stars Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, and Sarah Jeffery took to Instagram to pay tribute to the late actor.

Carson, 32, shared a black and white throwback photo of herself, Boyce, Stewart, and Dove Cameron with the simple yet sweet caption, "Our Angel. Forever."

In the post, the cast members wore warm smiles, Boyce's beaming, while Carson lovingly had her arms around the late Disney star. Stewart, 31, then reposted Carson's tribute on his Instagram stories.

Jeffery, 29, reposted an old Instagram post of her and Boyce with the text, "2014. On a BC ferry headed to Victoria to shoot more of Descendants. Life is good. Miss you Cam."

Boyce died at 20 due to a seizure following his epilepsy diagnosis. He rose to fame after kickstarting a career in acting at an early age.

After appearing in the 2008 horror film "Mirrors" alongside Kiefer Sutherland when he was nine, the child star also appeared in "Jessie," the "Descendants" film series, as well as "Grown Ups" and "Grown Ups 2," playing one of Adam Sandler's children.
