Source Says Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Downtime Has Been a ‘Turning Point’ for Them
The couple, who were first romantically linked in the summer of 2023 and have been spotted on several low-key dates recently, is savoring the slow season in their careers.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have had an eventful year, squeezing quality time and supporting each other between Super Bowl games and Swift's record-breaking "Eras" tour.

Following the end of the previous football season in February of this year and the "Eras" tour in December, things have slowed down for the couple, and it's allowed their connection to deepen.
"It's been a turning point for their relationship in a lot of ways," a source told PEOPLE. "They're incredibly happy and in sync. There's a calmness and ease to their relationship right now that's been really grounding for Taylor and Travis."
The insider continued, saying the couple has been "soaking up every minute of this slower season" together. "They've been splitting their time between New York, Nashville, and a few quiet getaways, just enjoying each other's company without all the usual chaos," they said.
Indeed, the pair have been spotted out and about in the above-mentioned cities. Their most recent outing was in Ohio, near Kelce's hometown. "This kind of downtime is rare for both of them, and it's really allowed their bond to deepen," the insider shared.

The slowdown also follows a significant milestone in Swift's career. At the end of May, she announced that she had regained her masters after years of fighting for ownership. The insider said the achievement was "empowering" for Swift and Kelce was by her side until the very end.
"Having Travis by her side for that milestone made it even more special," the source added. "He was honored to support her and he wouldn't have wanted it any other way."
